A Wiggler Wagon in Mario Kart Tour

Wiggler Wagons are vehicles found in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Mario Kart Tour. They look like mechanical versions of the green Wiggler found in Super Mario Sunshine. They only appear in the Mushroom Bridge and Mushroom City race courses as moving obstacles. Wiggler Wagons also wobble around noticeably when they drive.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

In Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, if a racer hits a Wiggler Wagon, they flip over, lose all of their items, and lose a lot of speed as well. Unlike cars, buses, and cargo trucks, Wiggler Wagons cannot be launched into the air using Stars, Bob-ombs, or Bowser's Shells. Each Wiggler Wagon varies in length, with the one at Mushroom Bridge being ten body segments long in single-screen races, while being five body segments long in split-screen races. The one at Mushroom City is always six body segments long, regardless of how many screens there are.

In Mushroom Bridge, the Wiggler Wagon is the slowest vehicle in its lane, regardless of how many players are racing, while in Mushroom City, the Wiggler Wagon is the fastest vehicle in its lane on the lower level.

Originally, there was going to be a second Wiggler Wagon in Mushroom City, but it was removed in the final version of the game.

Mario Kart Tour

Wiggler Wagons return in the Mario Kart Tour remake of GCN Mushroom Bridge after being absent in the course's Mario Kart DS rendition. They also appear in the course's T variant. In this game, Wiggler Wagons no longer crash racers, instead acting like a wall that slows them down when bumped into. If racers land on top of them, they can bounce off to perform tricks. Wiggler Wagons can be taken out by hitting them with a Spiny Shell, Bowser's Shell, Super Horn, Giga Bob-omb, or Super Bell, or by ramming into them while under the effects of a Frenzy, Mega Mushroom, Bullet Bill, or Super Star. When taken out, they grant bonus points. Each Wiggler Wagon has only five body segments, like in the split-screen mode of Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games

In Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, Wiggler Wagons appear in the Groove Pipe Snowboard event, which takes place on Mushroom Bridge. In the event, Wiggler Wagons continuously spawn on a part of the road that's out of bounds and out of sight, drive in the same direction as players along a straightaway, and then despawn out of bounds afterwards. The Wiggler Wagons move slower than they do in the Mario Kart series and each have a dash panel ramp on the back, similar to a dash panel ramp truck. In this game, it is referred to as simply a Wiggler.
