Template:New stub/main Gold Hearts are an item in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze created by Dixie Kong's Kong POW ability. When collected they will turn one heart gold, when attacked the heart will revert to it's original color, instead of disappearing, giving Donkey Kong an extra hit point. However, this does not last for the whole level, unlike Heart Boosts.
