Expresso's Racing
Expresso Racing is a mini-game hosted by Cranky Kong exclusive to the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. This mini-game can only be played by a new Animal Buddy known as Expresso. However, the ostrich needs Golden Feathers to increase his stats, which will make him better at the race. Golden Feathers are hidden in every level, usually in hard to reach places. When at Cranky's Hut, the apes can give Expresso the golden feathers to increase one of his stats by one bar. At the races, Expresso will race against three other ostriches, which are just palette-swaps of Expresso. These ostriches have three different colored feathers. The colors are red, light green, and blue. The names of the colored ostriches differ each race. If Expresso wins, the monkeys are rewarded with a trophy.
