A Rotatable Barrel.

A Rotatable Barrel is a type of Barrel that only appears in the game, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, for the SNES.

Rotatable Barrels are similar to the Auto-Fire Barrel, although this type of Barrel can actually be rotated and fired in any direction. However, there is a limit (Which is indicated by a number that sometimes appears on the Barrel) for how long the Kongs can stay in the Barrel. After this limit, the Kongs will be launched automatically. This kind of Barrel first appears in the level Barrel Bayou.

It also makes a small appearance in Super Smash Bros. on the Jungle Japes level. It floats under the stage and can be used for a recovery if the player ejects at the correct trajectory. Also, a similar barrel to this, called Spinner Barrels, made an appearance in DK: Jungle Climber. These barrels had no time limit.
