Joe debuted in the Game Boy Color version of Mario Golf as one of the first four playable characters players could choose from. In his appearance for these games, Joe has brown hair tied back into a ponytail. He wears an orange-collared yellow polo shirt, a brown belt, and white slacks. His golf shoes are auburn brown and he wears a yellow golfing glove. His trademark is a pair of dark sunglasses over his eyes. There is a green earring on his right ear.

He could be transferred to the Nintendo 64 version using the Transfer Pak. He is voiced by Mike Madeoy in this appearance.[1]

Mario Golf: Advance Tour
