Peter Claver Cullen (born July 28, 1941) is a Canadian voice actor, best known for voicing Optimus Prime in the Transformers franchise and Eeyore from the Winnie the Pooh franchise. He voiced Mario in Saturday Supercade cartoons and is the second portrayal of Mario overall. His sound recordings for King Kong in the eponymous 1976 film were used for some of Bowser's roars from 1996 to 2006 (including Super Mario 64, Super Mario 64 DS, and New Super Mario Bros.), making him one of two people to have voiced both Mario and Bowser (the other being Marc Graue).
