Bells are objects in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins that serve two purposes. In the stage, a bell can be found that act as check points if the player loses a life. Another bell also hangs above the stage's goal exit and cannot be reached without the aid of platforms and other objects. When Mario rings the bell, he plays a bonus game where he can get power-ups or extra lives before leaving the stage. They work similarly to the high door in Super Mario Land.

Like many other objects in the Mario franchise, the bells at the goals have thin, black eyes.
