Overview[edit]

Map of Level B-16
Level map

The level is made up of a system of platforms with Red Girder and Blue Lift Rivet arrangements. There are also several pairs of Split Pipes that warp the Minis between different locations within the course. Also present in this course are several Cannon Kongs and Capture Kongs.

The Key Mini Mario starts facing the locked Goal Door at the top left, which it can unlock using its key. However, a Capture Kong immediately snatches the toy and carries it around on its back. The Mini Toad starts on a platform lower down, while the Mini Peach and the Mini DK are located even lower to the left. The first objective of the level is to rescue the Key Mini Mario from the Capture Kong by luring the enemy with a Red Girder over a gap, withdrawing the girder at the right moment to make it fall onto the platform beneath; the Minis can then blast from a Cannon Kong on the left and stun the Capture Kong. With the Key Mini Mario rescued, all toys should then head for the Goal Door, arranged so that the Mini Mario has access to it first to unlock it.

M Coin[edit]

The M Coin is floating inside a tight vertical space in the proximity of a red Split Pipe on the right. Either the Mini Toad must start marching directly from its initial position towards the coin, or the Minis must enter the other red Split Pipe from its right side and warp to the coin to collect it. The Mini that collects the coin, as well as the others that fall inside the gap, will soon land on a Capture Kong that takes them into possession, and can be rescued by other Minis by shooting from the Cannon Kong nearby.
