The penguin king is a supporting character from The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the ruler of a kingdom inhabited by penguins. He is voiced by Khary Payton.

In the film, he leads his army of penguins into battle when Bowser and his Koopa Troop attacks. However, he and his army fail as Bowser and Kamek easily overpower them. The penguin king, along with his army, are later shown trapped in cages suspended high above the lava, along with Luigi and Lumalee, inside Bowser’s Castle.
