Template:Character-infobox Hard Roc is the third member of the Slump Bird species. He is the king and boss of the Cherry Kingdom in the GameCube version of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and the boss of the Grape Kingdom in the New Play Control! version.
Hard Roc's feathers are grey/blue grey in color, with a lighter grey neck, head, beak, yellow eyes and foot claws. Within the grasp of said claws is a black egg.
Hard Roc's attacks consist of blowing wind by flapping its wings, launching feathers at DK by doing the same thing, and firing a Shadow Meteor. When reaching below 300 HP, Hard Roc will spit three Shadow Meteors at once. Hard Roc can only be attacked by dazing it, which can be done by nearing it, then using the Sound Wave Attack, and then launching DK back toward the egg, where he can headbutt it.
When Hard Roc is defeated, its egg will explode, and Hard Roc will follow seconds after.
