The Gyrocopter is a helicopter owned by Funky Kong in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. Once all of the DK Coins are collected, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong are able to use it. It allows them to reach all areas of the Northern Kremisphere very easily. But of capital importance is that the remaining Banana Birds can only be reached by the Gyrocopter.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, another Gyrocopter belonging to Funky Kong can be used by Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong to travel to other parts of Crocodile Isle; this Gyrocopter can also be used in the game's various mini-games.

The Gyrocopter has the form of a barrel, so it looks somewhat similar to Bluster Kong's Barrel Copter from the Donkey Kong Country animated series.
