The Gyrocopter is a helicopter Funky Kong owns in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! Once all the DK Coins are collected, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong are able to use it. It allows them to reach all areas of the Northern Kremisphere very easily. It is important to know that only the Gyrocopter can reach the remaining Banana Birds.
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, another Gyrocopter belonging to Funky Kong that Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong can use helps the Kongs travel to other parts of Crocodile Isle; this Gyrocopter is also used in the game's various mini-games.
Trivia
- The Gyrocopter has the form of a barrel; it looks somewhat similar to Bluster Kong's Barrel Copter from the Donkey Kong Country animated series.
