Swoopin' Poinks only appear in Super Mario Galaxy. They are small blue creature that jump towards Mario and stick to him, slowly depleting his health. They can be dispatched with a swift Star Spin and release a single Star Bit when they die. They usually travel in groups of three or more, but not always. Swoopin' Poinks are one of the earliest enemies encountered. They also bear a resemblance to the Swoopin' Stu from Super Mario Sunshine.
