Template:Levelbox World 1-3 is the third level in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This is the first level to feature Yoshi, as well as Hammer Bros.
Layout
The level is set in a grassland like World 1-1, though much further away from Peach's Castle. There are platforms that use a similar design to the regular ground, but are lighter to indicate that they can be passed though. There will soon be a Hammer Bro on a set of Brick Blocks above some Pipes stuck horizontally into the ground. The player will then find Yoshi for the first time. Yoshi can eat some fruits which when he eats five of this a item will be released. The first Star Coin is found right after, then there will be a set of three Koopa Troopas and six Goombas, which can be used to get an Extra Life. Next will be small Abyss followed by another block containing Yoshi Eggs, then two rows of blocks which a Hammer Bro jumps on. The Checkpoint Flag is located after this, followed by the entrance to the second Star Coin. Outside the exit to the hidden area is a pipe with a Fire Piranha Plant near the start of the cave,a few Goombas and two Koopas. Yoshi can be used to spit one of the fireballs to get up to three extra lives. The player must then continue down the course, past a few Hammer Bros., until Mario reaches the Flagpole and completes the level.
Secret Mini-Mario cave
If Mario makes it to the checkpoint with Mini-Mushroom power, he can enter a pipe half-submerged with a mini-pipe sticking out the bottom. The secret room has two Koopas and many coins.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is floating in the air shortly after the first Yoshi Egg. Mario and co. must use Yoshi's flutter to reach it.
- Star Coin 2: Shortly after the Checkpoint Flag, there will be five Pipes from which Piranha Plants emerge (four Green, one Yellow). To the right of the shortest Green one is a secret area that contains a hidden sixth Pipe, which Mario and co. must enter. The second Star Coin is then to the immediate right, and Yoshi's flutter must be used to reach it.

Secret Exit
The secret exit can be found shortly before the last Star Coin, just after the Fire Piranha Plant. The player needs to jump to the high cliff edge leading to a hidden passage. Once the player reaches the entrance point, they need to jump over the passage, above the screen, and travel down the path following it. At the end of this path will be a secret pipe, which will send the player to the secret Flagpole. The secret exit will take the player to the World 1-
Cannon Warp Cannon, which sends them to World 5.
