Template:More images Template:Minigame-infobox Call of the Goomba is a musical minigame from Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on the phrase "call of the wild".

Introduction

The Intro tells the player the speed in which the song must be played to lure the Goombas over to their side. The player uses a small organ grinder like instrument, to play the Super Mario Bros. Theme Song, at a slow, medium or fast tempo.

Gameplay

The player must turn the crank counter-clockwise on the organ grinder, using the Stylus, at the speed shown in the intro to attract giant Goombas to the player's side of the field.

If the song is played at the wrong speed, clear notes will come out of the music player, but colored notes will play if the player has played it at the correct speed. If the Goombas hear the tune played at the right speed, they will start wandering towards the player that is playing at the right speed. The player that has the most Goombas at his or her side of the field when the game ends, wins, and if all the players didn't have any Goombas at their side of the field or if they have the same amount of Goombas in the Duel variant, the game ends in a tie.

Controls

  • Stylus – Turn the crank

In-game text
