My Nintendo is a loyalty rewards program that launched in Japan on March 17, 2016, in the Americas, Australia, and Europe on March 31, 2016, and in South Korea on January 19, 2017. Just like Club Nintendo, players receive points to purchase items like games, themes, and more. Gold points are earned if they buy games from the Nintendo eShop, while Platinum points are earned for doing various missions. It is the successor to the defunct Club Nintendo.
Certain smartphone apps developed by Nintendo use My Nintendo, including Miitomo, which launched alongside the service for Android and iOS, and Super Mario Run. In them, players can complete certain missions to earn Platinum Points specific to those games, which can be redeemed for in-game rewards. They can also be used in combination with Platinum Points earned through non-gaming means (e.g. logging into My Nintendo every week) to earn regular rewards.

Mii activities
At times, when a player with a linked Nintendo Network ID logs into My Nintendo on a web browser, their Mii can be seen doing something. Known Mii activities are listed below.
- The Mii runs after a platinum My Nintendo 'coin'. Platinum points are awarded if this coin is selected.
- The Mii floats attached to three balloons. The balloons pop one at a time when selected. In rare instances, a Boo replaces one of the balloons, who will vanish instead of popping. In rare cases, one of the balloons will match the color of a silver My Nintendo coin. Popping it will obtain 10 Platinum My Nintendo points.
- The Mii plays a game on a Nintendo console. If the TV is selected, it is turned off and the Mii looks at the player with annoyance.
- Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, or Ice Climber on a Nintendo Entertainment System.
- Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, or Super Metroid on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Splatoon 2 on a Neon Blue/Red Nintendo Switch. The TV is noticeably wider (former) and more modern compared to the one used on the other consoles.
- The Mii waters a potted plant with a watering can when selected. Occasionally, a red Pikmin will appear in the pot instead. It is also possible for a beanstalk to grow from the pot when it is watered.
- The Mii cleans one of the containers holding My Nintendo points with a cloth.
- The Mii fishes in a small section of water. If selected, the Mii raises the fishing rod from the water. If timed correctly, a boot, a Cheep Cheep, a Blooper, or even Mario's Cap can be caught. In rare cases, the player can catch 10 platinum My Nintendo points.
- The Mii plays a red or black Nintendo 3DS. The Mii moves (still playing the system) if selected.
- The Mii paints on a canvas. When selected the painting is shown; a variety of Nintendo themed paintings are possible.
- A Super Mushroom.
- A Star that could be either a Super Star or Power Star surrounded by blue background.
- A Thwomp.
- Yoshi, a berry, and a Yoshi Egg.
- An orange Inkling in squid form surrounded by splatters of ink.
- The Triforce and a Fairy.
- Tom Nook.
- The My Nintendo Logo.
- Orange Inkling in Squid form surrounded by other paint.
