World 2 is the second area visited in the Story Mode of Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. It is a coastal area that contains the second Music Key.
After Mario (or Luigi) and Toad depart Truffle Towers on the SS Brass, they encounter a cyclone which causes the SS Brass to circle around Toadette's hotel and uncoil it. After Mario fixes the hotel, Toadette tells them that she saw the Music Keys fly in the direction of the sea. They sail out sea on the SS Brass to find a Music Key, but they are interrupted by a whirlpool. They retreat to a nearby island and enter the nearby shop for help. Inside, they find the Boogie Booster, an engine that allows the SS Brass to withstand the whirlpool. The shop's Lakitu agrees to give them the engine if Mario wins a fishing duel.
With the new engine, they sail the SS Brass back to the whirlpool and dive under the water. They find the next Music Key within some ruins, but they are quickly confronted by a Big Blooper. Once Mario defeats the Big Blooper, they take the Music Key and fly off to find the next one.
