- Mario and Peach were declared by Bowser to be part of his Koopa Troop temporarily during the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, same with Mallow and Geno, hence the "(former)".

- To be honest, I actually agree with this user: I don't think this should even belong on the infobox template, since it's only temporary and it occurs in only one game, quite far back. It's fine as described in the main article as it is.
