Duplicate image[edit]

File:ThePhotoChannel.png is a clone of File:PhotoChannel.jpg. You did not even add a summary when you uploaded it and changed the page to include that image. The one you uploaded is also lower quality than the old one. You also did not add a category to the image. When you upload a new image that looks similar/is the same to the old one, please choose "Upload a new version of this file" instead of making a new one. When you re-upload, also make sure it is a higher quality and link it to where you found the image. Also, don't forget to categorize images. Use a file converter if you have images of different files. Please follow or you will receive a warning. Thanks.

- 1. You can't upload a new version of a file if they're different formats (jpg and png). The user was clearly trying to replace that image with theirs.
- 2. No, you're not allowed to convert images. Any images that were png from the source are uploaded as png.
- While the user was supposed to fill in the file details with a category etc. (which calls for separate reminders, {{aboutfile-reminder}} and {{imagecategory-reminder}}, should it keep up), this "duplicate" matter should've been notified through a simple message first, rather than straight to a reminder.
