Mario Party 6

First of all, thank you so much for finding that mysterious bonus no one could find! Me and another user kept trying to figure it out for a while now, but keep coming up empty, so thanks for finally solving that!

Now the actual reason why I'm here: You claimed you didn't receive a "Special Gift" after getting all of the bonuses. You also seem to have access to the game's files, so I was wondering then if you could figure out where exactly the Special Gift sound jingle is played (other than the sound room) and what it's connected to? And on a curious note, what were the unused bonuses you found, so that they may be added to the List of Mario Party 6 pre-release and unused content?

You're quite welcome, Alex95. Like you and the other user you mentioned (and most likely everyone else), I spent a lot of time scratching my head on figuring out how to unlock the bonus. I'll spare you the whole story (or I can tell it if you want me to) and say that I'm very happy to be the first one on the Internet to discover the bonus and have photographic proof of such. (That's right, I got so happy I had to take pictures. I'll find some way to post them online). If you're interested, I'd be glad to tell you how to get the bonus. And hey, why only you? I think the Mario Party community and Internet deserve to know as well.

However, we still have another mystery on our hands...

As I mentioned, I didn't get a "special gift" of any kind upon getting all the bonuses. After I finished playing the board and reviewed the bonuses I got, I received my coins, then I received my Stars, the game then saved... then nothing special happened. So, I not sure what this "special gift" is. You're right, I can access the game files of Mario Party 6. But here's the problem: I don't know the proper way to open the different kinds of files. To discover the mysterious bonus, I converted a BIN File to a Rich Text Document, which is not the "correct" way to open such a file. To tell you the truth (and I hate to disappoint you), I'm not sure if I want to spend more time digging around in the game files because I've got other things to take care of at the moment. I think we may have to leave this mystery to the folks of The Cutting Room Floor. I'm very sorry. :(

But I can still tell you what the unused bonuses I found are. I discovered them while I was searching for the mysterious bonus. The unused bonuses are listed between "You conquered all the spaces!" and "You've played all the boards!". Here's a table of them...

Bonus	Description
You've got every 4-P game!	This is the bonus you receive when you have collected all the 4-Player Mini-games.
You've got every 1-Vs.-3 game!	This is the bonus you receive when you have collected all the 1-Vs.-3 Mini-games.
You've got every 2-Vs.-2 game!	This is the bonus you receive when you have collected all the 2-Vs.-2 Mini-games.
You've got every Battle game!	This is the bonus you receive when you have collected all the Battle Mini-games.
You've got every Duel game!	This is the bonus you receive when you have collected all the Duel Mini-games.
You've got every Rare game!	This is the bonus you receive when you have collected all the Rare Mini-games.
You've collected every game!	This is the bonus you receive when you have collected all the Solo Mode Mini-games.

I'm guessing they were scrapped because you can also unlock all the mini-games (except the Rare ones) by playing Party Mode. But if you do that, then you won't be able to get their related Solo-Mode bonuses.

By the way, I may be an anonymous user here, but my name is Andrew and I'm actually an administrator of the Bejeweled Wiki. Maybe I'll submit this discovery and the pictures I took (even if they're not related to Bejeweled) in a forum post over there or something. :P

Thanks for posting this, Andrew! I understand not wanting to dig around more when you have more important things on your plate, but what you've discovered is already more than what most other people have documented. If you want to show the pics, I recommend Imgur or something similar. Now that we know what all of the bonuses are, we know what to aim for and are now closer to finding out what this "special gift" is. And thanks for sharing the unused bonuses as well! I'll go ahead and add those to our list of unused content if you don't mind, and maybe share with TCRF if I get the chance :) 17:19, 9 July 2017 (EDT)

Again, you're quite welcome, Alex95. Even though I'm busy with other things at the moment, I'm making it a priority to get the pictures online as soon as I can. I know just the way to do it, and I'll be sure to provide you with a link to them. I'm hoping to do all this by tomorrow or Wednesday. :)

Even though I wasn't able to uncover the mystery of the "special gift", I'm sure someone will figure it out. But I hope we don't have to wait another 13 years for that to happen. ;)

By the way, I saw that you added the unused Solo-Mode bonuses to the list of Mario Party 6 pre-release and unused content. Good work!
