Good news, I've just been informed that our fantastic team of 'Shroom writers has just what we need to put more action in this race! 22 of them have prepared gifts that just so happen to be pretty useful in Mario Kart!
There's no time to contact everybody to bring their gifts over here, though. Looks like you'll have to go looking for them! That's right, it's time for a good old-fashioned scavenger hunt!

Welcome back to a new edition of The 'Shroom Holiday Scavenger! It's been a while since we last had one of those, hasn't it? Four years, in fact. So, without further ado, let us get started!
Across this edition of The 'Shroom, 22 items submitted by our own writers and staff have been hidden. These have varying effects when used on the race track, so it's bound to be a crazy race once we have retrieved them again.
By default, you won't find anything lying around. To make items show up in your browser, please go to the scavenger hub site, enter your name if you want to, and sign up. Then, go and search and simply click on each item box to pick them up. Your progress will be automatically saved as you do.
Disclaimer: the hub site will place a cookie in your browser in order to remember you and show you the relevant graphics to play the game. This requires third-party cookie to be enabled, so be sure to enable those to be able to play.
