Wait... wasn't Wario responsible for the events of SML? According to the manual of the game (transcribed here), Wario was behind it. It is too big a coincidence that Wario hired Tatanga and invaded the castle during Tatanga's invasion. Also according to Wikipedia, Wario was the revealed as the "mastermind" in the SML and SML2 articles. Confused

Wikipedia is misled just like we were. The manual does not say that Wario hired Tatanga or even influenced the events of the game. All Mario said is that Wario took over while Mario was gone. -- Son of Suns

Well still, it's a very acknowledged fact over the web. Should we at least put in information that he was implied to influence the events of SML? Confused

It's not even a fact though....I not even sure we should state it's implied. It's fanon, not canon. -- Son of Suns
