Before changing[edit]

I made these bars as faithful as possible to the bars in the character selection screen of events and to the bars in the hats and outfits seclection screen. The Heroes Showdown screen uses smaller bars, with less easy to represent intervals. Since I'm using CSS3 functions (namely gradients and border-radius), please report problems with older browsers before editing the template, so we can see together what can be done. On Mozilla Firefox version 47.0.1, Microsoft Edge version 25.10586.0.0 and Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11.494.10586.0 everything is fine.--Mister Wu (talk) 18:51, 22 July 2016 (EDT)

Just a minor change[edit]

Can you fix it, so that it shows only the stats without any wear gear? Also, what am I supossed to edit if I ever want to see different stats (e.g. Power: 3, Speed: 5.5, Technique: 9.5)? Gold Luigi (talk) 07:32, 3 October 2016 (EDT)

No, this change was made deliberately not to make two separate templates for wear stats and for character stats, using a very simple switch. Creating two templates would be overkill in my opinion, since most of the code would be identical, and removing the stats shown in wear stats mode it would make it inconsistent with how stats are presented in the 3DS version, which is the only version showing wear stats in numerical form. Since outfits and hats that are not costume parts do use the sum principle to obtain final stats (final stats = Mii base stats + Hat stats + Outfit stats) this way of conveying information seen in the 3DS version indeed makes sense. Keep in mind that the bars are unaffected: the length of the 9 bar in characters' stats mode is the same as the length of the +7 bar in wear stats mode. In case, if you want to create characters' stats and don't know how to, copy and paste one of the characters' stats from the tables we are using. There, you can also see how to obtain the various stats.
Anyway, since you were asking a very specific case, I'll show it to you here, so you can copy and paste it if you need to do so.--Mister Wu (talk) 08:37, 3 October 2016 (EDT)

I don't need to, I realized a while ago that I can just edit a random character's stats and then click the Preview button!!! I just need not to save... Gold Luigi (talk) 13:17, 3 October 2016 (EDT)
