Jungle Jeopardy is the nineteenth level in Donkey Kong Land III. It is the first level of the Great Ape Lakes, located in the northwest region. Jungle Jeopardy is the first jungle level in the game. It introduces the Konveyor Ropes, which are horizontally strung ropes that move Dixie and Kiddy to the right if they grab on them. The Kongs are required to move from some Konveyor Ropes to get across gaps; some other gaps can be crossed by a Barrel Cannon or jumping from a Niknak. Many Buzzes are placed around the ropes.

When the level begins, the Kongs find themselves walking through the dense jungle, collecting some bananas and defeating enemies. After crossing a few gaps, they make their way onto the first set of Konveyor Ropes. Jumping up and down from the parallel ropes to avoid Buzzes, the group soon gets back on the ground and travels down the path. Walking up the bumpy path, they jump over many Bristles to find a banana trail leading over to another Konveyor Rope. This rope leads the Kongs over the area and to the letter O, as long as they can avoid the swarms of Buzzes flying around. After letting go of the moving rope, the apes find the Star Barrel.

About halfway through the level, the primates make their way to a barrel that blasts them over a small gap and to the letter N. Once this happens, the heroes are greeted by several foes, such as Sneeks and Rekoils, as they run along the hilly area. After collecting the letter G and walking down a slanted path, the animals use a Niknak to cross a small gap. Farther on, they walk through another hilly area, avoiding more enemies, this time with some Buzzes and Bristles. Eventually, the group makes their way to a flagpole. Touching the flagpole ends the level.
The first level in Great Ape Lakes, the first Jungle level, and the first level with Bazuka (albeit in a bonus stage). It has ropes that behave like conveyor belts.

Near the end of the level, the Kongs encounter the Koin. If Dixie or Kiddy jump over a nearby Buzz, they can find a Steel Barrel. The active Kong must then throw the Steel Barrel to the edge of the screen by the Level Flag while staying to the left of Koin. The Steel Barrel bounces off the side of the screen and hits Koin from behind, defeating him and rewarding the DK Coin to the Kongs.

Jungle Jeopardy has two Bonus Levels, listed by type:
*Collect the Stars!: After the letter K, the Kongs encounter a pair of Konveyor Ropes. They must grab on the bottom rope and drop to a banana below them, which leads them directly down into the Bonus Barrel. In the level, the Kongs have 20 seconds to collect 10 stars, which appear along the Konveyor Ropes in groups of three. The Kongs must avoid some Buzzes near the ropes. After Dixie or Kiddy collect every star, the Bonus Coin appears at the bottom-right corner.
*Find the Token!: From the first gap after the Star Barrel, the Kongs must go below a Barrel Cannon facing northeast and jump into one near the bottom. They are blasted through a long chain of Barrel Cannons, taking them through most of the level, until eventually entering the Bonus Barrel itself. In the Bonus Level, the Kongs have 30 seconds to obtain the Bonus Coin at the rightmost part of the area. They must jump across some temporary rock platforms and pass two Bazukas, the second of which is on the same platform as the Bonus Coin, right in front of it.
