do weve to consolidate ALL figurines into this one article? it looks too messy. 3dejong Cool! There was a Pauline figure! I've seen her go up to as much as a hundred on eBay! User:Pauline

It does? <gallery> provides a nicely organized table of these images in thumb forms with descriptions. What parts do you believe are messy?

It's just that ALL figurines, Bowser, Mario, Luigi, all put together, just doesn't look right. Let's just have seperate articles for each character, and a big one for enemies (which I'm working on right now) 3dejong

Two[edit]

Did you know there were two of the same figurines in the gallery

I believe I saw what you meant and fixed it. YELLOWYOSHI398

NEW!!!!!!!![edit]

Corgi international is releasing 2 inch figurines of the characters throughout the year. You can find them at gamestop and they're releasing them in sets of 6. currently it's at set 1. Also, gamestop is selling these plush toys of Mario, luigi, wario, and DK. Cfivemario 20:02, 29 March 2008 (EDT)

Licensed Products?[edit]

A lot of these figurines look like could be fan-made creations created out of clay or something. Is there any evidence that these are licensed Nintendo products? -- Son of Suns (talk)

Actually, the whole page seems to be a mess to me, and it it has a lot of POV, e.g. "cute figurine" or "Hang ten, man!" and many exclamation marks. The pictures should be arranged by company and figurine series rather than by character, and there should be individual articles on figurine series rather than tons of images on one page. Figurines with unknown manufacturers should still be there (but it should be pointed out that their origins are unknown) until someone proves that these are fan-made or knock-offs. I would like to know where all the photos with the ruler in background are from, or did 3Dejong shoot all these photos himself? Anyway, this page needs a lot of work. --Grandy02 10:44, 26 December 2008 (EST)

Clay[edit]

Some look like they were made with clay by users.

Delete images[edit]

Looks very fan-made.

As brought up by the sections above, I believe we should delete the images with low-quality figurines. I'm talking about the figurines where there is a ruler in the background. I have tried to search for them and they do not appear to be sold anywhere. Not to mention they seem very fan-made. Unless someone can prove that these images were in some way endorsed by Nintendo and are official, they should be deleted.--Knife (talk) 19:43, 14 January 2010 (EST)

True. You should ask 3Dejong, since he uploaded the images. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
I would, but he's inactive/retired.--Knife (talk) 20:14, 14 January 2010 (EST)

If there are no objections, I'll just remove these images.--Knife (talk) 17:32, 17 January 2010 (EST)

All the photos with the ruler in the background were taken from the site Video Game Memorabilia Museum, possibly without permission. They might see the use of so many images as 3Dejong once uploaded as stealing. But still, the site is a good reference, since it has a huge image archive and a little bit of information (year and manufacturer) for every article. --Grandy02 14:08, 25 May 2010 (EDT)

Sorry, I must correct myself. On the site's homepage, it reads: "Note: All pictures found here are for public use (just right click and save-as)! All I ask is that you give me credit and let me know!" --Grandy02 16:13, 25 May 2010 (EDT)

Why were those files actually deleted? Most of them showed older merchandise, of course you can hardly find promotional photos of that nowadays. That they aren't sold anymore doesn't mean that the figurines are fan-made. Also, why were many of the figurines moved to the page Toys? --Grandy02 14:49, 26 May 2010 (EDT)

A proposal that he made a few months ago. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Furuta Figurines[edit]

This page has a TOTALLY USELESS image, this one: Princess Daisy Nintendo Furuta.jpg Because those figurines are already in this other image: Furuta Super Mario Bros Figure.png Also the second one only shows part of the Set 2 of those figurines, because we don't have images of sets 1 and 3.
For these reasosns I removed the first image and changed the caption of the second from just figurines to a link to the Furuta Chocolate Eggs page I created pureposelly to aknowledge all three sets of figurines... But my edit has been undone.
Please explain why do you think the old version is better than the improved one, or let me do the edit!--Kombatgod 08:39, 22 April 2011 (EDT)

Wait a sec... Also the Birdo, Koopa Troopa and Toadette figurines are already in that image!! I know this page has been done as an image gallery, but that's just because most of these items don't have (and don't need) a page on their own... Anyway they only need one image each! Specially considering that these Furuta figurines have a page on their own! I'll redo the edit soon!--Kombatgod 10:01, 22 April 2011 (EDT)

Super Size Figure Collection[edit]

Why is there no information on this page about the Super Size Figure collection? (Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nyQEdPSj6w) Is it an official product? The packaging says they are made by Banpresto. Is that company licensed by Nintendo? This site needs a lot more info on toys in general, what toys are official and what aren't etc. 221.145.217.171
