Category talk:Pages to be deleted
Umm...[edit]
I think this category may have glitched, as it put in every single Yoshi's Island DS level as to be deleted because they are redirects. I checked a few of them, but I don't see the syntax anywhere for the delete template, nor do I see it put in when I was checking the history. What should we do?

- I noticed this, I think it's about the template that is getting deleted, as it is at the bottom of the page. Yoshi876 (talk)
badge[edit]
Pages like "HP Plus (Paper Mario)" and "Power Bounce (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)" used to redirect to different locations of "Badge", but now there are individual pages for badges like "HP Plus (badge)" and "Power Bounce", so the original redirects are 1) wrong, as they had to link to pages for individual badges directly, and 2) unnecessary, as people would also link to the badge pages directly. I've cleaned old links to these pages so they become completely orphan. So they are tagged for deletion. Another gossip-loving Toad (talk) 11:36, 3 August 2015 (EDT)
Avoiding Pileup for Numerous Deletions[edit]
- To admins with user rights to delete pages
I can understand that deleting pages can be a big task if there are numerous deletions to perform. I don't know if the deletions are being done manually, one by one, but to avoid pileup, there is a way to automate this process, and that is to use the Pywikibot delete script. I should note that deleting files en masse can have some issues, so be absolutely sure the deletion is wanted. Also use the -file argument because using -cat could end up deleting the subcategories of Category:Pages to be deleted. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:30, 23 February 2018 (EST)
