'''Buzzer Barrage''' is the twenty-sixth [[level]] in ''[[Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!]]'' It is the first level of [[Razor Ridge]] and the first cavern level overall. The vast majority of the level is spent controlling [[Quawks]], who must use [[barrel]]s and [[Iron Barrel|Steel Barrel]]s to defeat the various [[Buzz (enemy)|Buzz]]es and [[Booty Bird]]s in the cave. Some Red Buzzes will obscure Quawks' ability to directly drop barrels onto enemies; if a barrel cannot be dropped onto its intended target, Quawks can drop the barrel near the target so that it rolls into it instead. The level also introduces [[Kopter]], an aerial enemy that flies in set paths and cannot be hurt.

In this cavern level, [[Dixie Kong|Dixie]] and [[Kiddy Kong]] will turn into [[Quawks the Parrot]], who will aid them in flying through the area. Unfortunately, Quawks can not shoot eggs like the similar [[Animal Buddy]], [[Squawks the Parrot|Squawks]], causing quite a challenge throughout the level. To make matters worse, the stage is filled with many [[Buzz (Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!)|Buzzes]], who get in Quawks's way. Because he is unable to shoot eggs, Quawks will have to use the level's barrels, scattered all over the place. Solving some minor puzzles and defeating the Buzzes, Quawks will be able to complete the level safely. Though Buzzes are the main enemy here, [[Kopter]]s, make their debut and [[Booty Bird]]s appear very often to stop the Kongs' progress.

Once Quawks heads upwards between some rocky walls, he will find a barrel to the right. Quawks must carry it and defeat the bees with the barrel, Quawks must then pass the Buzzes and get another barrel and pass a Kopter, to defeat a green Buzz blocking his path. Quawks must then defeat a Buzz with the barrel and fall downwards, where he will find a wide, open space, along with a barrel. Quawks must carry the barrel past two Kopters in a tight gap and defeat a Buzz blocking his path. Here, Quawks must use barrels to defeat seven Buzzes. Once all the Buzzes are defeated, a [[Bonus Coin]] will appear in the top right-hand corner of the area and Quawks will then complete the level.

When the Kopter hovers over to the left gap, the Kongs must bounce on his helmet and fly upwards with it. So, Quawks must fly upwards and move between two Kopters in a small alcove to find a [[Steel Keg]]. Quawks must pick up the barrel and head back to the Koin and then drop the barrel to the left of it. The barrel then will roll into the Koin as Quawks flies above the distracted it. [[Koin]] then will be defeated, and it will give out the DK Coin.

Quawks cannot directly attack Koin to defeat it, so he must fly upwards and move between two Kopters in a small alcove to find a [[Iron Barrel|Steel Barrel]]. Quawks must pick up the Steel Barrel, go back to the Koin, and then drop the Steel Barrel to the left of it. The barrel slowly rolls to the wall, and Quawks must stay over Koin for the Steel Barrel to roll into the side, defeating it and rewarding the [[DK Coin]] to the Kongs.
