He was being difficult and taking offense to DP's request to settle down and not call users, "buttheads." DP lost it, flaming him, and now Fixitiup wanted me to do something. So I calmed down both of them and told them that it was a situation in which I would either have to block both or neither of them for a short amount of time. DP accepted my offer not to blocked either of them, but Fixitup is calling for both of them to be blocked, but DP for a longer amount of time so that he'll learn a lesson. I really don't want to lose two of the Wiki's best contributors, but I know that I really should block them, just as DP should have just blocked Fixitup when this whole issue began.
