I'm a busy gal, but I try to make as much time for the wiki as I can, so if you need anything at all, just post here. I'll usually respond on this page as soon as I can (unless you specifically ask for me to reply on your page), so keep an eye out for the incoming chatter.

Possible security hole question

I would usually post these types of questions on the Main Page, but for anti-troll reasons I'll post it here where there's somewhat less traffic. Earlier, I was messing around on the MarioWiki when I came upon this page. Obviously, I'm not testing it out, but it appears that could reset anyone's password (not just yourself), given that you know their username. Of course, the new password would be sent straight to the targeted user's email, but until the targeted user figures that out, they could potentially be locked out. Hmmm, strange. Testing it out on an old blocked sockpuppet, it spits back "There is no email address recorded for user "Noname1".", so maybe if there was an email, it'd work? idk, ask Porplemonage about it - he'll know better than me. - Walkazo 23:09, 11 June 2015 (EDT)

BTW, Steve responded. He said that the original password will still work. Ultimately, it just shows that you should never share your email address. (On a side note, 'Shroom email subscribers are able to see other subscriber's emails. That's good. The Shroom operates separately from the admins, but yeah, that does sound like a questionable practice and they should probably look into using the BCC function to avoid that, or something. Maybe let SMB know about your concerns. - Walkazo 15:57, 12 June 2015 (EDT)

Is it written in the guidelines that names stated in-game should not be sourced?

MarioWiki:Citation Policy: "For the most part, you don't need to provide a reference for basic information taken directly from the games. This includes [...] characters," - level/mission/etc. names aren't obscure enough to warrant citations. Names only found in guides or other 3rd party sources (i.e. not the games or their manuals) need to be cited, and just so you know, page numbers should be provided (otherwise they should be flagged with {{pageneeded}}). - Walkazo 13:44, 13 June 2015 (EDT)

Rhythm Tengoku

From what Glowsquid's adding, the amount of Mario content seems limited to small cameo appearances, mostly assorted characters appearing in the background. Punch-Out has Little Mac directly fighting against DK, and Starfy has Wario directly aiding him, so it doesn't really strike me as being on the same level. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Just saying hi

Looking through the User pages (I get reeeeally bored), I came across your brother's. I'd type something on his page, but odds are, he's not gonna see it. I also have Asperger's and Autism (as well as Tourette's and Marfan's), so I know what he's going through. It can be tough being really smart and unsociable. The most recent date I saw on his page was 2011, so I hope he's doing much better now! I have trouble talking, but I somehow have a lot of friends, so I know it can only get better as you go along. I have a younger brother with Autism as well, so I know how it feels to be a sibling of an autistic person as well. I wish you both good luck with your lives, Walkazo and Pantaro! (Alex95 (talk))
