:I did this by deploying {{tem|PAGETITLE}} as a drop-in replacement for <code><nowiki>{{PAGENAME}}</nowiki></code>. - I did this by deploying {{PAGETITLE}} as a drop-in replacement for
{{PAGENAME}}. There's no need to get rid of thetitleparameter, as there are still some cases where it's needed, but those instances are now much rarer. --Steve (talk)
