“I'm Twila, the dazzling dame of the night!”
Twila, Mario Party 6

Twila is a character in Mario Party 6. She is the literal moon who revolves around the world with Brighton, the sun. According to the game's intro, they also host the parties set up by Mario and his friends. Her name is a pun on "twilight", owing to her connection with the moon. After Brighton asks Twila whether he is more impressive than her, the two of them start to argue. The discord motivates Mario and company to fill the Star Bank with as many Stars as possible in the hopes of ending their fight. The Stars in the bank can be used to purchase pages from the Miracle Book, and once all pages in the Miracle Book are bought, Brighton and Twila see how much work everyone has done to fill the Star Bank. They both make up and promise to get along. As an award for their hard work, the sun and moon scatter the Stars across the sky, being seen miles away.

During gameplay, Twila controls the board for three turns, turning it from day to night, and switches off with Brighton after the three turns are up. She also changes in some courses how much stars are worth, and sometimes she makes new passages open. Twila, as well as Brighton, made an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as Stickers that can be collected. Her sticker can be used by any character, and it reduces dizzy time by 46. Twila also hosts Mini-Game Mode, Options Mode and the quiz game Speak Up.
