The Sacred Tree.

The Sacred Tree is a place where Donkey Kong can offer beats or bananas in order to earn Crests in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. At the end of each kingdom, he can offer the total number of beats or bananas (depending on which version) to this place in order to earn up to four crests (only three in the New Play Control! version).

Scoring

The scoring system is divided into four zones (three in the Wii version) and each time Donkey Kong reaches that amount, the more crests he'll receive. Here's how it scores:

GameCube Version

  • Defeating the Boss and earn less than 400 beats: Bronze Crest
  • 400-799 beats: Silver Crest
  • 800-1,199 beats: Gold Crest
  • 1,200 beats or more: Platinum Crest (optional)

New Play Control! Version

  • 200-499 bananas: 1 Crest
  • 500-999 bananas: 2 Crests
  • 1,000 bananas or more: All 3 Crests
