Jessica Chisum
Template:RealPeopleBox Jessica Chisum, also credited as Jessica Chism,[1] is a voice actress that portrayed Plum in Mario Golf and Birdo, Princess Daisy and Nina in Mario Tennis. She has been in the business since 1998, and is currently a voice and acting coach in San Francisco.[2]
Portrayals
Voicing of Princess Peach
Even though Jessica Chisum credits herself with voicing Princess Peach in Mario Golf.[3] It is believed to be a mistake by many people, considering Jen Taylor, who is believed to have voiced Princess Peach in Mario Golf’s interviews shout when she started voicing Peach. Taylor has said that she received the role for Peach and Toad at the same time. and with Taylor being credited for Toad in Mario Golf, she said she had voiced Peach and Toad both for her first game. and Chisum did not credit herself for voicing Peach in Mario Tennis, even though Peach’s voice and some voice clips are completely identical. Which makes it possible that Jessica Chisum made a mistake and assumed she voiced Peach, especially with her first document of who she voiced in Mario Tennis and Mario Golf being almost a decade later. In a similar circumstance, the same thing happened with Rosalina’s voice actresses several times where Kerri Kane was credited for Laura Faye Smith’s voices even though Kane had no part in it, so there’s still doubt to be made for Chisum’s claim. So at this moment of time, because there is no more information about Jessica Chisum’s experiences or if she truly believes that she did record lines for Peach, it is currently believed that Jen Taylor voiced Peach in both Mario Golf and Mario Tennis, until further statements are revealed.
