Reminder[edit]

Please stop making non-constructive edits on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Hello. Please avoid making non-constructive edits such as this and this (because those people have each portrayed only one character). Thanks for reading.

A large portion of your edit history consist of randomly removing relevant information or adding sections for information already mentioned in the main body of the article. May I ask why? --Glowsquid (talk) 19:46, 5 October 2013 (EDT)

Edits[edit]

Currently the information you're removing can be seen as valid info, if you feel they shouldn't be there make a proposal here and see whether the community will agree. Yoshi876 (talk)

Warning[edit]

This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (unilateral content removal, edit warring) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.

There's no guideline about what should or shouldn't go in staff and actor pages, so I'm afraid continuously removing content with the justification "it's supposed to be like this" doesn't quite cut it. As several users have questioned and reverted your removals of information on said pages, it might be a good idea to make a proposal about what content should be allowed on the staff articles (as suggested above). --Glowsquid (talk) 22:10, 16 October 2013 (EDT)

Isaac Marshall[edit]

You claim Marshall was credited in Double Dash "in the middle of kazumi totaka". Here's where you're wrong.

1. Marshall is not credited in Double Dash's credits <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Phyaj2DASrE#t=1m30s>, just as he was never credited for Super Mario 64.

2. Birdo's voice is quite clearly the same in both Toadstool Tour <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWxNh4gMBAo> and Double Dash <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKlDUVpHQTA#t=3m7s>

Please bring facts to back up your arguments, not delusions. Thank you.

New articles[edit]

Great job on the articles, but please remember to put the appropriate templates and categories onto pages. If you're unsure of what ones I have done the ones you have already done. Yoshi876 (talk)

New Stubs[edit]

We don't allow creation of new stub pages on the wiki, hence why we use the {{New stub}} template. I'm removing the stub markings mainly because I don't think any more info could be added. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 19:57, 31 October 2013 (EDT)

mdash[edit]

Hi. We use &ndash instead of &mdash, so please don't change the ns into ms. Thanks and keep contributing. Yoshi876 (talk)

Redirects[edit]

Not all of those redirects you are creating are necessary. First names, such as "Scott" are very vague and we don't need to redirect them to that one person.

Additionally, most spelling mistake redirects are unnecessary, such as "Delores" to the article "Dolores Rogers".

As you were told before by YoshiKong, first name redirects and spelling correction redirects are discouraged, but you continue doing so. If you are unsure about what redirects are necessary or not, please have a small discussion first. Thank you.

2nd Reminder[edit]

Please stop creating new stub articles on the Super Mario Wiki. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.

That article you just created is only 26 letters, and creating a stub article is a reminder worthy offense. Ztar Power (talk) 18:41, 3 November 2013 (EST)

You were already reminded not to create new stub articles, but created another one, you have received this warning because you have some reminders and another warning. Ztar Power (talk) 19:03, 3 November 2013 (EST)

Avoid using the word "you" in the main articles[edit]

Hey there, Christopher1006; just a kind heads-up; on the recent edits that you've done, you were using the word "you" which is addressing the reader, which isn't allowed. You're supposed to be using "the player" instead. Remember that for next time; take care. --M. C. - Profile | Talk Page 12:27, 29 November 2013 (EST)

Re: Toru Asakawa and other voice actors[edit]

What is what you said in your latest edit to the Asakawa page "official?" Did you contact him personally? If not, please view the discussion pages for these actors and put your explanation for the edit there to avoid an unncessary edit war. Thank you. Kyubihanyou (talk) 10:09, 29 December 2013 (EST)

Comet Luma[edit]

If you read the talk page, you'll know that the page was moved to its French name because that's the only found official name; before that the page was called "Prankster Comet Luma" which is a conjectural title, and wiki policy states that a page must be titled its official name, even if it's non-English, so please read any previous discussions about the title next time you think a page should be moved. --driftmaster130 (TalkEdits) 14:11, 18 January 2014 (EST)

Kelsey Hutchinson[edit]

Enough. You do not understand the concept of reusing a clip. You automatically presume that any time a credit list is issued, it is all encompassing. Worse yet, you have forever embedded your naivete and inability to cite properly by believing the more recent edit made by a lesser-knowing individual.

I thank you for acting as my shadow in the case of Nate Bihldorff as Shy Guy and knocking me back to my senses accordingly, but I have had to clean every other mess you've made that demonstrates a lack of knowledge (despite experience) on your part. The roles you have tied to Minnerly, Magaz, Mugalu, Rogers, Kelly, etc. in the past tell me that you not yet ready to be the prevalent force here, so it is in my best interest to keep you on a proverbial leash. Jessica Chisum[edit]

Please consider the following points when writing paragraphs like this. Not only was that paragraph still poorly written, you didn't provide sources for any of this information.

  • Don't use weasel wording like "it is believed...", "they say..." etc. without providing credible sources.
  • Game titles should be italicised. I suggest reading over MarioWiki:Manual of Style.
  • Please try to watch your grammar. You're using periods where commas should be used; conjunctions like "and" and "so" should be connected with commas, not starting new sentences.
  • The overall tone of the paragraph also seemed casual. Information on articles should be written in a neutral and encyclopedic tone.

Okay, my bad. I thought it was fine but if you want it deleted that’s cool. Or maybe you could get someone else to write it better? I thought it was a good thing to leave on her page

Blanking pages[edit]

Sprite of a Spiked Fun Guy from Yoshi's Story Yo, can you not remove content from talk pages please? Thanks. Somethingone (talk) 22:04, April 13, 2022 (EDT)

Sure, can I remove things I wrote though? Christopher10006 (talk)
You can only strike your messages. You cannot delete your comments. Example:
I like Bowser I no longer like Bowser.
Also, you seem to forget to sign your comments. Make sure you add ~~~~ after your comments on talk pages. Spectrogram (talk) 04:50, April 14, 2022 (EDT)

Deletion[edit]

To answer your question:

  1. This isn't Wikipedia, it's Super Mario Wiki.
  2. No. You're talk page history is permanent. If you don't want to edit anymore, that's fine, but your talk page stays.
