Hot Hootz

Template:Species-infobox Hot Hootz are common enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Hot Hootz are red and orange Hootzes that wear a belt with a red Snowmad insignia. They cover themselves in orange flames when they attack, but lose the flames afterwards. Hot Hootzes function similarly to the Flaming Tiki Buzzes from Donkey Kong Country Returns/3D.

Hot Hootz are usually stationary and do not fly around in set patterns like Hootz or Blue Hootz. They attack the Kongs by releasing a fireball in their direction. When engulfed in flames, Hot Hootz cannot be jumped on or rolled into. However, when a Hot Hootz throws a fireball, it loses its flames and is vulnerable to jump attacks for a short time. At anytime though, they can be attacked with a barrel or other throwable object.

Being first found in Swinger Flinger, Hot Hootz continue to appear in levels including Crumble Cavern, Sea Stack Attack, and other.
