Hot Hootz

Template:Species-infobox Hot Hootzes are common enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Hot Hootzes are red and orange Hootzes that wear a belt with a red Snowmad insignia. They are usually covered in orange flames, but lose them when they attack. Hot Hootzes function similarly to the Flaming Tiki Buzzes from Donkey Kong Country Returns/3D.

Hot Hootz are usually stationary and don't fly around in set patterns like Hootz or Blue Hootz. They attack the Kongs by releasing a fireball in their direction. When engulfed in flames, Hot Hootz cannot be jumped on or rolled into. However, when a Hot Hootz throws a fireball, it loses its flames and is vulnerable to jump attacks for a short time.
