Helicopter Spin

The Helicopter Twirl is Dixie's special attack move used in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. Since Dixie can't roll like Donkey or Kiddy, she uses the helicopter twirl to attack. She can also use it to hover in the air to get across gaps and other hazardous ground objects. This is later stolen by her younger sister, Tiny Kong except she uses both her ponytails to attack.

Trivia

• Dixie using her helicopter twirl instead of rolling is similar to Diddy using his Cartwheel instead of rolling.
• Strangely when Dixie's using her helicopter twirl to hover Diddy and/or Kiddy start rolling in the air following her.
