Forest Folly

Forest Folly is the penultimate level of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, located in Donkey Kong Island. Corresponding to the Forest level from Donkey Kong Country Returns, it takes place in the snowy dense forest.

Overview

The level starts out in the snowing forest. Springs, cling-able units, and vines are major gimmicks here. Player must be careful against snowflakes that harm Kongs and vary in size and orbit all the way in the level. Some tiki towers and frozen spiders can be seen at the background.

Collectibles

K-O-N-G Letters

• K: After the first vine and the first puzzle piece, player will see it upper.
• O: Located along the round cling-able unit. Player has to try still by moving counter-clockwise along the unit to catch it.
• N: It is located before the barrel cannon part. Pound the spring when the N and bananas appeared.
• G: It is set under the platform that gets destroyed by the giant snowflake. Roll down and jump immediately from the previous platform or use Dixie Kong. Player must grab it quickly!

Puzzle Pieces

• 1: After the second spring near to the K, yellow plant is seen. Pound in front of it and grab all bananas before they run out.
• 2: Just after the O, hidden barrel can be seen behind the wooden platform. Use the spring to reach it and it brings the player to the bonus room.
• 3: Grab all bananas on three vines that are in a row. Player must avoid snowflakes and fireball attacks simultaneously.
• 4: At the barrel cannon section, a puzzle piece is moving with snowflakes that orbit from lower right to the upper left. Reach to the non-moving cannon quickly and wait until the puzzle piece comes.
• 5: After the final checkpoint, Fish Poker Pop can be seen. Defeat him and pound at the front of the bunch of fish. Then grab all moving bananas and a coin.
