Dribble and Spitz are major anthropomorphic animal characters in the WarioWare series. The duo consists of Dribble, an orange bulldog, and Spitz, a small squinting yellow cat, and together, they run Diamond Taxi, where they are both cabbies. They drive a taxi that has been souped-up and is capable of travelling into space, among other things, and often they take on board passengers that turn out to be supernatural in some way, usally forgeting to collect the fares.
History
WarioWare Series
WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania
Dribble and Spitz were first seen in the intro scene of WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania, in which they were called by Wario to join his "company", WarioWare, Inc., and they agreed to produce microgames for him.
In their own story, Dribble and Spitz drive up and down Diamond City late at night, and pick up a young girl or boy who asks them to take her or him to the sea. When they arrive at the pier, the girl or boy walks to the edge, transforms into a mermaid or merman in front of the furry cabbies, and jumps in the sea, bidding them farewell. Fascinated by this strange phenomena until dawn breaks, they eventually realize that they had forgotten to collect the mermaid or merman's fare.
Dribble also appears in an unlockable mini-game called VS Dong Dong, where he is up against Mona to push yellow blocks with the moving bar and squash the opponent on the other side.
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!
In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!, Dribble and Spitz are traveling around Diamond City, where they are called upon by a woman who was really Orbulon in disguise. She asks them to take her to the farthest reaches of outer space, and on the way, she reveals her true identity, but the furry duo don't seem to be bothered. When they arrive, Orbulon drags the taxi into his Oinker, and makes them his underlings, until they suddenly get hit by an asteroid and fall back down to Earth, landing in Dr. Crygor's laboratory. Dribble and Spitz's taxi soon becomes able to float on water, and they, Orbulon and Dr. Crygor travel to the mainland. During the journey, Spitz tunes in to watch the Super Show, and before long they had arrived in Sora Sora, where Mona is working.
WarioWare Twisted!
In WarioWare Twisted!, Dribble and Spitz are driving through Interstate 310, where Spitz is fiddling about with the taxi radio while being told by Dribble not to sleep on the job. Suddenly, the taxi breaks down, and during their microgames stage, they try to fix it. They fix it in the end, but Spitz has fallen asleep again, so Dribble decides to push a button that transforms the taxi, and takes them into space. Before long, they pick up an alien customer that asks them to take it to Club Sugar.
WarioWare Touched!
While Dribble and Spitz do not have their own microgame stage in WarioWare: Touched!, they make a brief appearance at the end of Mike's story, where they are called upon by Dr. Crygor to help him look for his missing robot, and eventually find him on the planet of the Space Bunnies. They also appear in the character selection screen every time one or more characters are unlocked.
WarioWare: Smooth Moves
Dribble and Spitz appear once again in WarioWare: Smooth Moves, where they are cleaning their taxi, glad that the weather had turned out to be nice after all. Suddenly a young woman arrives, asking for a ride to a place called Tomorrow Hill. When they arrive, they are shocked to see that a giant spaceship had descended to the edge of Tomorrow Hill, where the young lady transforms into an alien and departs, leaving her hat behind. Once they got over their shock, Dribble and Spitz realize that the alien hadn't pay the fare.
This is similar to the story of Minigame Mania.
WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase
In WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase, the WiiWare counterpart for WarioWare D.I.Y., Dribble and Spitz take part in the Diamond Rally Championship, where they try to overtake their opponents. After the boss stage is completed, their taxi breaks down.
Super Smash Bros. series
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Dribble and Spitz make cameo appearances in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as Stickers. If the Dribble Sticker is used in the Subspace Emissary mode by a player, the player's battering resistance will be raised up by six. The Spitz Sticker can only be used on characters with tail attacks. If used, it will raise their attacks by twelve.

- This speed freak of a cabby drives for Diamond Taxi. He's burly guy, but he's not as bright as his partner Spitz. For some reason, they both have Bronx accents.

- Sure, he's small, but in the cab he's leader of the pack. His cool head suits Dribble's need for speed well. Together, they dream of cabbing it in outer space.
Microgames
Dribble and Spitz come with their own set of microgames in all games of the WarioWare series, except for WarioWare: Touched!.
In WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania, Dribble and Spitz's microgames are of the Sci-Fi genre. All of these microgames are based on futuristic things, such as protecting a ninja from incoming arrows, or shooting enemy spaceships. WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$! does also feature Dribble and Spitz's Sci-Fi microgames, as well as a mini-game created by them called Milky Way Delirium, which involve futuristic things as well.
Dribble and Spitz's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! involve a particular style of gameplay rather than a specific visual theme, which was also continued for the next games in the series until WarioWare: D.I.Y.. In this game, their set of microgames is called Steer Clear and require tilting the Game Boy Advance and pressing the A Button.
In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Dribble and Spitz's set of microgames involve the forms The Remote Control, The Umbrella, The Dumbbell, The Janitor and The Mohawk.
In WarioWare: D.I.Y Showcase, Dribble and Spitz return to their original role and host a new set of Sci-Fi games again.
Trivia
- Both characters are named after a form of saliva, "dribble" and "spit".
- They get to live their dream in WarioWare: Touched, as astro cab drivers.
- Their taxi's bumper sticker says "Diamond Taxi 777-7777".
- Dribble appears to be the one game developer, while Spitz is just his partner.
- Even though Spitz has is eyes always squinting, he opens them fully in WarioWare Twisted briefly during the intermission cutscene, in which they are reveled to resemble real cat eyes but a bit sinister looking.
