Plum is an amateur golfer who appears in the sports title Mario Golf. She is one of the first playable golfers in the game. Plum is not one of the strongest golfers out on the links. As such, she cannot drive the ball very far. However, Plum makes up for her lack of power with technique. She is able to control the ball and put it where it needs to be.

Plum is considered to be well balanced golfer. Thus she is a good choice for beginners. However, her great control also makes her a top choice among experienced players. She was replaced by Princess Daisy in later titles.

Additionally, a trophy is modeled in Plum’s likeness in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
