The Nasty Garlic from WarioWare: Touched!.

Garlic is a common item found in the Wario video game series. Garlic appears to be Wario's favorite food. It has approximately the same effect that Mushrooms have on Mario.

In Wario Land 3, Garlic is one of the treasures that Wario has to collect. It is found in the Tower of Revival. Wario gains access to it by opening the Blue Snake door. It allows him to break solid blocks.

In WarioWare: Touched!, Wario eats a Nasty Garlic in Wario-Man's intro cutscene and transforms into Wario-Man. After the microgames are beaten for the first time, the Nasty Garlic will then appear on the main selection screen so that Wario can turn back into Wario-Man at any time.

In the game Wario World, Garlic heals Wario, and Garlic Dispensers vend cloves of it to him.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wario becomes Wario-Man, his Final Smash, after he eats a clove of garlic.

In Wario Land: Shake It! Garlic makes a reappearance. Garlic can be obtained by shaking enemies and heal one heart of Wario's life meter. Occasionally, a big Garlic would come out of an enemy, which heals three hearts of Wario's life meter.

Appearances in Other Media

Garlic appears only once in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. In one episode ("Count Koopula"), Mario and the gang needed to save Princess Toadstool from Count Koopula. Mario and the gang ate Garlic and then, Mario now had stinky breath. Mario opened his mouth in front of Count Koopula, and Koopula, horrified by the breath, ran away. In one live-action segment, right before commercials start, Garlic was mentioned.
