Nurse Toadstool is a nurse, just like Mario is a doctor in the Dr. Mario games. Nurse Peach wears pink clothing as seen in the artwork. Nurse Peach doesn't have major roles and she is barely seen in the game.

Nurse Peach also appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee, where in one fight, Luigi must defeat Dr. Mario and Nurse Peach, however Nurse Peach looks nothing like she does in the artwork of Dr. Mario. She wears a white dress instead of pink, and looks more like a wedding dress.
