Mole Miner Max
Mole Miner Max is the fourth boss in the Wii game, Donkey Kong Country Returns. As his name states, he is a notable Mole Miner, and the leader of his species. He and his army of mole miners are the bosses of the Cave world. He drives his own train, named the Mole Train. Max is about three sizes bigger than his minions. Like the other moles, Max wears a hardhat with a headlamp on it. However, he wears an orange and yellow miner's vest (whereas his minions do not). Max also has one, big tooth hanging out of his mouth, and freckles on both sides of his cheeks. During battle, his weapon of choice is a pickaxe, much like most mole miners. He uses the same fighting style as his minions, however he is a bit faster than them, and his attacks are more unpredictable. After Mole Miner Max has been defeated, the train starts slowing down and stops short at the edge of the cliff. Max's fate is unknown. It is possible he fell off the cliff, along with his train and the other moles.
