Mario Super Sluggers is the sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball, and will be released for the Wii in this year. The game was announced on October 9, 2007, at a Nintendo conference. At the moment, information on the game is fairly limited, as only a few screenshots have been revealed. It will be released in Japan on June 19th, 2008 [1]. It is expected to be released in North America in July.

It has been confirmed by the Mario Super Sluggers site at Nintendo.com that the game will feature nine stadiums, and they will be accesible both day and night.
