Flower Patches are also seen in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. They are found scattered around Princess Peach's Castle, as well as other parts of the game. They are small in size and yellow in color. In Super Mario 64 DS, the rabbits often hide within the Flower Patches.

In Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel, they reappear once more. Sometimes, the player may notice a sparkle in the flower patch. If the player walks into the sparkle or shakes the Star Pointer at it, a Star Bit or Coin may pop out.

In Mario Kart DS, Flower Patches are seen in Peach Gardens. If the player drives through the Flower Patch, it slows the Kart down; once the player reaches the road again, they return to normal speed.
