Multi-Vators[1] are a type of platform appearing in both Super Mario 3D World and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Multi-Vators have a number printed on them that indicates the number of players that must be standing on the platform in order for it to move, generally allowing access to a secret. They generally appear in stages with Double Cherries, so that players can either use them (or additional players in Super Mario 3D World only) to activate them.
