Chunky is portrayed as a strong character, but with a sweet personality. Chunky is sweet and gentle and prefers not to fight unless he has to in order to help or protect those he cares about. Much like [[luigi]] and most of the [[toads]],  He's normally cowardly, as if the player highlights him in the Tag Barrel, he'll shake his head and point at Tiny to try and get an excuse not to go and run away screaming very quickly.
