Unlike the normal [[Bandit]]s Coin Bandits are colored in a very pastel-esque pink and run away from [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]] on sight. Thier name comes from the red coin that they always sport above thier heads. If Yoshi gets the coin from them, their behavior then reverts to that of normal bandits.
 
Oddly the [[Bandit]]s found in the ''[[Paper Mario]]'' series have the same coloration as Coin Bandits.
