== Copyright problem ==
I found a cool site that has almost all the enimies from Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, but the owner of the site has a copyright on them! Can on of the sysops e-mail him and ask? The site can be viewed here: [http://www.freewebs.com/magmac/sprites.htm]. He has his email available there. It would be nice to add to our ML:SS enemy list! Also, I deleted the Blablanadon pic, as it happened to come from that site, but I found it on Google, not knowing it was copyrighted. :(--[[User:3dejong]]

== Sub-Species ==
It's not copyright, he doesn't own the sprites. Just ask for permission.
Should the creatures who are sub-species have the sub-species ''and'' species category on their page?
<br>- [[User: Yoshi Mastar|Yoshi Master]]
:No, when we did Luigi's Mansion's ghosts, a few of them were derived from the main ghosts, and we only categorized them as sub-species. <span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#006633;"><font size="5">'''[[User:Wayoshi|W]]'''ayoshi</font></span><small> ( [[User talk:Wayoshi|T]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Contributions/Wayoshi|C]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Emailuser/Wayoshi|@]] )</small> 00:53, 19 August 2006 (EDT)

== Name Changes ==
You don't need to ask him. I know him, Magma999 right? I can ask him because he let me use them a long time ago. He does make all of his sprites and borrows them from other sites. Why he asks for permission, I don't know. Here is an even better alternative that is free to use and more widely [http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/nintendo/mario/ used.]--[[User Talk:Knife|Spike]][[File:Spike Shield Badge PM.png]]

== Trouble Center ==
OK, so I downloaded all the good sprites, :) and I'll upload them when I have the time. I'm working as hard as possible on the Merchandise, so it'll take awhile. I hope I'll have enough time to do some good work on the merchandise this week...--[[User:3dejong]]

There's about a thousand things in the [[Trouble Center]] page that needs to be internally linked. Should I link it all or leave it alone?

<br>--<span style=" -variant: small-caps;">'''[[User:Yoshi Mastar]]''' (''[[User talk:Yoshi Mastar|talk]]'')</span> 19:18, 4 August 2006 (EDT)
Okay, fellas. I'm going to start posting our fiscal status here. This month we raised '''$61''' through ads, '''$20''' through web hosting (I'm hosting a friend of mine for $20/mo), and '''$5''' through donations (it came from a porplemontage.com member, all the stats are the total amounts from both sites). So that means we fell short '''$74''' towards the monthly cost of the server. I'd really like it if we could at least get that number under $50 each month. Down in the $25 range is our crazy-goal. So that implies more donations if you can help out. Clicking the ads is good if you see something you like and would like to check it out. Clicking for the hell of it is bad, but every now and then is recommended. Basically what you should do is just don't ignore them, always give a glance over there when the page loads. So that's that. The Super Mario Wiki needs you. --<span style=" -variant: small-caps;">'''[[User:Porplemontage|Steve]]''' (''[[User talk:Porplemontage|talk]]'')</span> 00:15, 1 October 2006 (EDT)

I have a good pic of the [[Shadow Queen]] in her actual form, but it will kinda be like a spoiler yah know? And there's already the pic of Peach possesed so should I post it up...?

== Levels? ==
I was wondering... Should we add a section for levels in the games? Maybe just the secret levels, perhaps?
:Maybe. I'd like to hear more opinions on this first. --<span style=" -variant: small-caps;">'''[[User:Porplemontage|Steve]]''' (''[[User talk:Porplemontage|talk]]'')</span> 22:23, 27 September 2006 (EDT)
Like, maybe the Secret and Extra levels of Mario Advance 3?
:Levels would be covered under the places article and category, which means we don't need a levels page. A page for Secret Levels could be created, descrbing how they are generally acquired or other details about secret levels in different games. These levels would also be places though, and would need to be categorized accordingly. A Secret Levels category could also be created and articles about individual secret levels could be made as well. -- [[User: Son of Suns|Son of Suns]]
::I'm all up for a level PipeProject to organize this idea, but no namespace should be made for level. As SoS says, these are normal articles that would go under the place category as well as a new (secret) level category. <span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#006633;"><font size="5">'''[[User:Wayoshi|W]]'''ayoshi</font></span><small> ( [[User talk:Wayoshi|T]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Contributions/Wayoshi|C]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Emailuser/Wayoshi|@]] )</small> 15:09, 28 September 2006 (EDT)
So, when can we start? I'm working like crazy on the Marchandise section, so I can't help for awhile. I have, like 250 images on my computer waiting to be uploaded! I'll be changing things around a whole lot in there, but I've completed all the Secret and Extra Yoshi's Island levels, so I'll scout around if we start the category soon. [[User:3dejong|3dejong]]
:To start a PipeProject for all the levels in the [[Marioverse]], we need one more trooper first. I'll post a suggestion on the idea tonight. <span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#006633;"><font size="5">'''[[User:Wayoshi|W]]'''ayoshi</font></span><small> ( [[User talk:Wayoshi|T]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Contributions/Wayoshi|C]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Emailuser/Wayoshi|@]] )</small> 16:57, 29 September 2006 (EDT)

==The 'Shroom==
== WOW!!!!!! ==
Now, officially, ''The 'Shroom'' is accepting early applications for staff members. Almost anyone, even new users, can apply, though we would like at least half of the staff to be experienced contributors. This weekend I will set a maximum (probably will be 10-15, if we can get such a large staff) of preliminiary staff, then as and/or if The 'Shroom is a success more can follow. Please contact me at [[User talk:Wayoshi|my talk page]] with the headline/subject <nowiki>=='Shroom Application (#)==</nowiki>, the number depending on if anyone already applied before you. It is pretty much first-come, first-serve!
I found a HUMONGUS amount of Mario merchandise pics, so expect lots of new merchandise soon!
:''This previously unsigned comment was from [[User:3dejong|3dejong]].''
Also, I've been skipping the Mario plush dolls, only uploading the "interesting" ones. If anyone wants to add them, here's the addresses for the best sites:[http://www.nintendoland.com/home2.htm?funfacts/merchs/index.htm][http://www.smbhq.com/media.htm]
[http://www.themushroomkingdom.net/mania/merchandise.shtml][http://www.videogamemm.com/v/Store/Mario+Related+For+Sale+Items/?g2_page=1]Also, a section on pins might be pretty good... I've already downloaded and saved all the pics on these sites (I have about 200), so expect most of them to be here by Saturday.

Tomorrow a page will be created explaining this, but I'm adding it here since this is kind of our temporary Community Portal. <span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#006633;"><font size="5">'''[[User:Wayoshi|W]]'''ayoshi</font></span><small> ( [[User talk:Wayoshi|T]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Contributions/Wayoshi|C]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Emailuser/Wayoshi|@]] )</small> 00:54, 4 August 2006 (EDT)

==New Background in Textareas==
== Name Changes ==
Using my new sysop priviledges to add a cool background to the edit box was harder than I thought, but it worked! I have a 1280 X 1024 monitor, meaning my edit box is huge, so I cropped the image down to 645 in width (standard laptops have a minimum of 800 width), which means the image should be seen at least once (I let it repeat so it would continue down the page). This only works on Internet Explorer and Netscape, with the Monobook skin. I would like to point out the new sub-page of '''PipeProjects''', ''suggestions''. == 2000 Articles ==
I have found that Mediawiki allows users to configure their own css into a Wiki (I believe this Wiki supports it, if I'm wrong delete this section). How? By creating a page at the following directory: [[Special:MyPage/monobook.css]], the Skin most likely being Monobook, of course. Add your own background colors, fonts, size, and more. Look at [[Mediawiki:Monobook.css]] for a start if you're interested, and if you have a question about ''simple'' CSS, feel free to ask on [[User talk:Wayoshi|my talk page]]; I can probably answer it. <span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#006633;"><font size="5">'''[[User:Wayoshi|W]]'''ayoshi</font></span>

== Star Road ==

Um, the Star World in Super Mario World isn't a Star Road...

Star Roads are the levels ( Star Road 1, Star Road 2, ect. ) and the teleporters...

And the Star Roads in Super Mario World arn't called Star Markers...

:According to the Super Mario World Instruction Manual, the star-shaped cloud area is called Star Road and the access points are called Star Warps (not Star Markers). Also, in game, the levels are labled after the world (like Donut Plains 1 exists in Donut Plains world). As such, the level Star Road 1 exists in the Star Road world. --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 18:53, 5 June 2006 (EDT)

::We're both wrong in a sense. I'm playing it right now, when your on the levels they Star World 1 ect. so since it's named after the world, the place is Star World. The instuction manual shows Mario on a Star Road. Not on one of the levels.

::None of the Star Roads have a name or number. They're all just called Star Road.

::And the official guide shows the same info too.

:::Yeah, I just checked the game out. I thought it was the other way around. Let me change it back. Thanks for correcting me. --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 19:04, 5 June 2006 (EDT)

:::: As some insight as why it was put down as Star Marker, I did that because people kept deleting it when it's name was Warp Star/Star Warp as being a Kirby series item. -- [[User:Ghost Jam|Ghost Jam]] 00:55, 11 June 2006 (EDT)

== Nomadimice ==

Nomadimouse is actually refering to the species of wandering desert mice in Paper Mario, so the entry needs to be changed from a charecter to a species. The charecter [[Nomadimouse]] should be called Wandering Nomadimouse. Goombario calls him that so I'm sticking to it.

:I believe you are correct so make any changes you wish. Just remember, Nomadimice are a race of Squeeks, the mouse people from Super Mario World 2 and Paper Mario 2 (just like the Dryites are a race of Toads). However, we don't even have a Squeek article yet... --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 10:45, 4 June 2006 (EDT)

::No, those mice in Yoshi's Island are called Little Mouser's. Though technically that would make them a sub-species of Mouser so they wouldn't need an article anyway.

:::You're right...but they were renamed in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'' to the name Squeek. --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 17:51, 4 June 2006 (EDT)

::::Ah, but where I don't remember that in the game?

:::::If you use Goombella's tattle on several on the mice wandering around Rogueport, she will identify them as "Squeeks". --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 23:28, 4 June 2006 (EDT)

== Other items ==

We need people that know the Super Mario RPG and Mario & Luigi series items.

There's an "other items general" section, and "other items special section". If more items are added for those games we can make their own sections.

== Add Enemies Category ==
Should we add the enemies category to the main page. I know the page encompasses both species and characters but the baddies are one of the most fundamental aspects of Mario games. What do others think? --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 00:17, 18 May 2006 (EDT)

: Making a friends area would be easier since there's a lot less friendly creatures than enemies.

:: In that thinking, perhaps two categories could be added: the pre-existing Enemies category and a new Allies category. --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 00:42, 18 May 2006 (EDT)

:::I just created the Allies Category and filled it with the major heroes and allies of the Marioverse. --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 17:25, 18 May 2006 (EDT)

::::How far can we really consider allies? Generally friendly charecters?

:::::I think it is up to interpretation. However, I like to think of allies as those who genuinely support heroes in their efforts to fight evil. Additionally, allies are not passive in this fight; they are actively aiding the heroes. Also, allies are concerned with the good fight, not just their own problems or need to personal profits. For example, Goombaria, Goombario's sister, is one of the nicest, friendliest characters in the world. However, she is more concerned about her doll and her family than fighting evil. On the otherhand, Goombario makes a choice to join Mario in a greater fight. Additionally, many shopkeepers may help, but their main reason for doing do is profit. Does that help? What do others think?--[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 19:41, 18 May 2006 (EDT)

:I'm all for putting an 'enemies' category on the main page, as well as allies, but it'd be easier if those pages ''existed''. I know there are the enemy/ally categories, but those look tacky. I'm looking for something like how the characters are set up; there is a page, but there is ''also'' a category. With that in mind, who feels like creating the pages? ;) --[[User:DarkInsanity|DarkInsanity]] ('''''[[User_talk:DarkInsanity|talk]]''''')

::I can make them, but I'll only put those enemies and allies that are on the category pages. --[[User:Son of Suns|Son of Suns]] 20:16, 18 May 2006 (EDT)

:::Sounds cool. Post back here when you're done, or bored and want someone else to finish up, and I'll add the link to the main page. Also, I may have to see about getting you the position as a sysop... --[[User:DarkInsanity|DarkInsanity]] ('''''[[User_talk:DarkInsanity|talk]]''''')

:I suggest you look at your user page at [[User talk:Koloss]]. <span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#006633;"><font size="5">'''[[User:Wayoshi|W]]'''ayoshi</font></span><small> ( [[User talk:Wayoshi|T]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Contributions/Wayoshi|C]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Emailuser/Wayoshi|@]] )</small> 22:47, 13 August 2006 (EDT)

I would like to point out the new sub-page of '''PipeProjects''', ''suggestions''. If you are unsure if an idea of a project of yours would get contributors, you can add it here, using a simple format, and contributors will (or hopefully will!) let you know if it's a good idea. Copyright problem

I found a cool site that has almost all the enimies from Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, but the owner of the site has a copyright on them! Can on of the sysops e-mail him and ask? The site can be viewed here: [1]. He has his email available there. It would be nice to add to our ML:SS enemy list! Also, I deleted the Blablanadon pic, as it happened to come from that site, but I found it on Google, not knowing it was copyrighted. :(--User:3dejong

It's not copyright, he doesn't own the sprites. Just ask for permission.
- Yoshi Master

You don't need to ask him. I know him, Magma999 right? I can ask him because he let me use them a long time ago. He does make all of his sprites and borrows them from other sites. Why he asks for permission, I don't know. Here is an even better alternative that is free to use and more widely used.--SpikeSpike Shield Badge PM.png

OK, so I downloaded all the good sprites, :) and I'll upload them when I have the time. I'm working as hard as possible on the Merchandise, so it'll take awhile. I hope I'll have enough time to do some good work on the merchandise this week...--User:3dejong

September 2006 Report

Okay, fellas. I'm going to start posting our fiscal status here. This month we raised $61 through ads, $20 through web hosting (I'm hosting a friend of mine for $20/mo), and $5 through donations (it came from a porplemontage.com member, all the stats are the total amounts from both sites). So that means we fell short $74 towards the monthly cost of the server. --Steve (talk) 00:15, 1 October 2006 (EDT)

Poll

A new poll, created by Spike (talk), is available for voting at MarioWiki:Polls. Check it out and we'll see how it works out as the Pipe Plaza is established. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 23:13, 30 September 2006 (EDT)

I moved it because I'm cooler than you. hahahaha --Steve (talk) 23:20, 30 September 2006 (EDT)
...I can only wonder why I didn't think of MarioWiki:Polls. It's so obvious... Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 23:27, 30 September 2006 (EDT)

Levels?

I was wondering... Should we add a section for levels in the games? Maybe just the secret levels, perhaps?

Maybe. I'd like to hear more opinions on this first. --Steve (talk) 22:23, 27 September 2006 (EDT)

Like, maybe the Secret and Extra levels of Mario Advance 3?

Levels would be covered under the places article and category, which means we don't need a levels page. A page for Secret Levels could be created, descrbing how they are generally acquired or other details about secret levels in different games. These levels would also be places though, and would need to be categorized accordingly. A Secret Levels category could also be created and articles about individual secret levels could be made as well. -- Son of Suns
I'm all up for a level PipeProject to organize this idea, but no namespace should be made for level. As SoS says, these are normal articles that would go under the place category as well as a new (secret) level category. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 15:09, 28 September 2006 (EDT)

3dejong

To start a PipeProject for all the levels in the Marioverse, we need one more trooper first. I'll post a suggestion on the idea tonight. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 16:57, 29 September 2006 (EDT)

WOW!!!!!!

I found a HUMONGUS amount of Mario merchandise pics, so expect lots of new merchandise soon!

This previously unsigned comment was from 3dejong.

Also, I've been skipping the Mario plush dolls, only uploading the "interesting" ones. If anyone wants to add them, here's the addresses for the best sites:[2][3] [4][5]Also, a section on pins might be pretty good... I've already downloaded and saved all the pics on these sites (I have about 200), so expect most of them to be here by Saturday.

This previously unsigned comment was from 3dejong.

Too big...

I found a really neat Mario Bros. pinball game pic, but it more than exeeds the maximum size! Should I still upload it?

If you can, sure. --Steve (talk) 20:41, 26 September 2006 (EDT)

.GIF to .PNG?

I've found a gold mine of cover photos and summaries of the Super Mario Bros. book series, but all the pictures are .gif files! Is there any way that I can change them to .jpg or .png files? This is the site: [6]

You can use .gif files on this wiki. Instead of typing .png or .jpg, just type .gif in its place. -- Son of Suns

Name Changes

  1. The page Rowf and Ruff needs to be changed to Rowf and Rhuff.
  2. There are two Tubba Blubba's Castle pages. One only had a few sentences which I erased and the other is one I made complete. That link on Tubba Blubba's page takes you to the blank page. Could somebody delete the blank one?
  3. This is the page I made: [7]
  4. The Peach Doll still needs to be changed to Dolly, and the Sunken Ship still needs to be changed to Sunken Ghost Ship.
Tubba Blubba is already solved, but I took care of the other three. For the record, you could have moved those pages. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 15:31, 15 August 2006 (EDT)

PipeProject Suggestions

I would like to point out the new sub-page of PipeProjects, suggestions. If you are unsure if an idea of a project of yours would get contributors, you can add it here, using a simple format, and contributors will (or hopefully will!) let you know if it's a good idea. You're free to create a PipeProject at any time. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 17:34, 17 August 2006 (EDT)

Sub-Species

Should the creatures who are sub-species have the sub-species and species category on their page?

No, when we did Luigi's Mansion's ghosts, a few of them were derived from the main ghosts, and we only categorized them as sub-species. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 00:53, 19 August 2006 (EDT)

Orphaned?

What exactly is an orphaned page? Monty Mole 19:53, 30 August 2006 (EDT)

In what context did you see the term? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 20:01, 30 August 2006 (EDT)
There's a Special Page called Special:Orphaned Pages. Monty Mole 20:19, 30 August 2006 (EDT)
Where is the link to that page. Not even Wikipedia has such a special page. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 21:03, 30 August 2006 (EDT)
Go to Special Pages.
It's actually at this link: Special:Lonelypages. I'm trying to figure out now what it means for an article to be lonely. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 21:15, 30 August 2006 (EDT)
Figured it out. Those 78 pages turn up blank when you use the "What links here" tool in the first link of the toolbox, meaning that no other page in the whole Wiki uses [[ARTICLENAME]] (with the exception of Categories). Thus, it makes it much harder to access the page unless you knew it exists and you use the search box to search the title name.
Such articles should be added the listing pages in the navigation toolbox. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 21:32, 30 August 2006 (EDT)

"Avatar" question

Is it okay to upload images to use on your userpage? I want to right-align an image, but that doesn't work with hotlinked images... --It's-a me, Smeedel. / Talk - Contribs - You 17:04, 1 September 2006 (EDT)

  1. Yes, it's ok. My Yoshi w/ Mario's cap picture is for my userpage.
  2. You originally posted this comment on the Main Page Talk's Archive, which is kept for historical reference only. Why did you do that? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 17:15, 1 September 2006 (EDT)

Because I'm a n00b, I did not know that. Sorry. *smashes head in wall* Edit: Protecting it would be a good idea. --It's-a me, Smeedel. / Talk - Contribs - You 17:20, 1 September 2006 (EDT)

Move

Should this page be renamed as a MarioWiki page? Right now, it's just a regular article and conflicts with all the other regular articles (with are our Mario knowledge-base). --Son of Suns

When I search "Move", I get nothing. What page is conflicting? Talk:Main Page? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 22:52, 2 September 2006 (EDT)
I moved the page to MarioWiki: Main Page. Does that work? -- Son of Suns
Wha-whoah. I understand you by saying that Main Page does not belong in any namespace and is not an article, but...wikipedia:Main Page on Wikipedia has that name and it's dignified. I'm going to have to move this back. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 22:59, 2 September 2006 (EDT)
That's fine. I was just wondering anyways... -- Son of Suns
Maybe Steve can label the first tab "main page" like Wikipedia instead of "article" as a compromise. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 23:01, 2 September 2006 (EDT)
Umm I don't know how to do that but I think it's fine the way it is. It's the default for most MediaWiki wikis. --Steve (talk) 23:05, 2 September 2006 (EDT)

Categories

I think perhaps an insect category (to put Wiggler, Stinger or any other creepy crawlies in) should be made.

Well then. Make one! Paper Jorge 18:18, 6 September 2006 (EDT)

Announcement

The user known as Peachycakes/Daisygirl hasn't only been vandalizing this Wiki, but Wikipedia as well. We have given this user a chance at making quality and accurate contributions. However, s/he has repeatedly violated both this wiki and Wikipedia, and will not be allowed to come back. Just wanted to let everyone know. -- Son of Suns

Can you link to the user's long-term abuse page on Wikipedia? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 20:26, 9 September 2006 (EDT)

Here's the Super Princess Daisy page:[8] Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions· Paper Jorge was here at... 20:29, 9 September 2006 (EDT)

Using the same name on Wikipedia...foolish. His/her idea for the sequel is cool, but of course, it is false and he/she is doing it multiple times. Thanks, PJ. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 20:35, 9 September 2006 (EDT)

A query... How did find out they were the same? Out of curiosity.HK-47 w4z h3R3 at 17:33, 10 September 2006 (EDT)

The user uses the same names for both Wikipedia and Mario Wiki and only adds content about the fake game Super Princess Daisy. -- Son of Suns

I mean... did you search that wiki with the intent and sole purpose of finding this info?HK-47 w4z h3R3 at 17:38, 10 September 2006 (EDT)

Actually, I just happened to type Super Princess Daisy in the Search at Wikipedia and I got a fake article pending deletion with comments from other users upset about Peachycakes/Daisygirl. -- Son of Suns

Sysop?

What's the difference between a bureaucrat and a sysop? Superchao 19:35, 15 September 2006 (EDT)

I believe a bureaucrat has the same abilities as a sysop, except for the fact that a bureaucrat can promote others to sysop status (or even bureaucrat status). -- Son of Suns
That is correct. In addition, I think bureaucrats can access special parts of the wiki (core coding, etc), unless that's only for the creator of the wiki (Steve). Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 21:13, 15 September 2006 (EDT)
Sons of Sons is dead on. The only reason I can access the coding is because I own the site. --Steve (talk) 22:55, 15 September 2006 (EDT)
So, in my Dilbert Wiki (dilbert.elwiki.com), the only reason I can change the coding is because I made the wiki? Shyper 16:27, 16 September 2006 (EDT)
That is correct, but change coding extremely carefully. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 16:39, 16 September 2006 (EDT)
You can't change the coding because you didn't setup the wiki. ELWiki manages the files, from what it looks like. --Steve (talk) 19:48, 16 September 2006 (EDT)
Um... all I changed was adding the characters category to the navigation bar. And, logged-in users have more access than people using IPs, sysops have more access than logged-in users, and bureacrats have the most access? Also, is the wiki founder the only one who is automaticly a sysop and a bureacrat? Superchao 16:35, 18 September 2006 (EDT)

On my wiki...

How would I change the titles like changing talk (the tab) to something else? Superchao 16:30, 18 September 2006 (EDT)

You'd have to sift through the MediaWiki pages generated by the default and change the context. (Special:Allpages, then go to the MediaWiki namespace). Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 17:49, 18 September 2006 (EDT)
Special:Allmessages is better. --Steve (talk) 17:57, 18 September 2006 (EDT)
Wow, yes. Sift through that spot instead. :P Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 18:10, 18 September 2006 (EDT)
I'd like to change the tags Article, Talk, Edit, History, Move, Watch, Delete, Protect, User talk, and Block to make them more dilbert-ish. What should I change them to? I already changed user talk to memos. Superchao 18:46, 18 September 2006 (EDT)

Hi! I'm brand new, and I just got a message from Wayoshi telling me how to add borders to pictures to make them look better. I've been uploading lots of pictures, but I don't know how to align or add borders to them! Help, please!!!!

Try this.... HK-47 w4z h3R3 at 17:03, 19 September 2006 (EDT)

"Quotes:" namespace?

Maybe we could make up a Quote: namespace and move quote articles to the namespace. —It's-a me, Smeedel. / Talk - Contribs - You 04:40, 23 September 2006 (EDT)

Naw, the parenthesis thing is fine. --Steve (talk) 10:29, 23 September 2006 (EDT)

Google Down

Google is currently down: search engine and all of their ads. So if you experience lag on the site, it's because the Google ad on the right-hand side is not loading. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it has nothing to do with us. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 15:10, 26 September 2006 (EDT)
