Wario must throw down an opponent at the right time using the Joy-Con before they throw him down. If successful, Wario throws an opponent, shouting "Seyah!", raises his fists, and the background changes from pinpricks (and lightning for Level 3) to dots. If Wario does not throw an opponent, they will throw him down, knocking him unconscious, and the background turns indigo. When he does not throw on time, he and his opponents confuse the player and the background effects stop moving.
